Dr. Andreea Szilagyi – NCC, GCDF

As President for EBCC and Vice President for NBCC International, Andreea Szilagyi is responsible for operations in Europe.

Dr. Szilagyi holds a doctorate in education (the first with a counseling focus in Romania) and a degree in education from the University of Bucharest. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a registered Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) International Master Trainer and Mental Health Facilitator (MHF) master trainer.

Dr. Szilagyi is founding member and past president of the Romanian Counselors Association and a former member of the executive board of the International Association for Counseling. She served as an associate professor for the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, Romania, and is one of the first counselor educators in Eastern Europe with expertise in the practice of career counseling, counselor education, development of the counseling profession, and certification across borders.

Rita Catarino Caeiro – M.A., GCDF, CSP

RitaCatarinoCaeiroRita Caeiro is the International Projects Coordinator for EBCC.

Ms. Caeiro holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology and a degree in psychology, both from Évora University, Portugal. She has experience as an interpersonal skills trainer, in coordination and development of social projects, in community interventions, in education administration, and in school and pedagogical counseling.

Ms. Caeiro is a registered Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) Portugal Master Trainer, a Certified Supervision Professional (CSP) and a registered Mental Health Facilitator (MHF).

Helda Parreira – GCDF

Helda-pictureHelda Parreira is the Administrative Assistant for EBCC.

Ms. Parreira holds degrees in English and German languages and literatures and a post-graduation in teaching and education, both from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal.

Mrs. Parreira has experience in teaching for primary and secondary school, in developing educational and social programs for adults, and in coordinating training departments for multinational companies.

Mrs. Parreira is a registered Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF).
